Founded in 1981 operating from 30,000 square foot premises at Baldonnell Business Park in West Dublin since 2003, we import and distribute fine art, craft materials and office stationary. We sell B2B (website and direct) across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, through trade delivery and online dropship services. Our range consists of 38 world class partner brands such as Winsor Newton, Derwent, Reeves, Pilot, Helix and 3M, amounting to c. 16,000 product lines. We also directly manage our own Create and Elements art and craft brands. Our business is enabled through SAP Business One.

Funky Monkey Foods are a small family run food production company. We currently produce a Chinese style curry sauce mix and a salt and chilli spice bag seasoning. We are also in the process of releasing a Singapore chow mein mix. All cooking, packing and recipe development is carried out here on site. In 2016 I started selling food on Facebook to earn extra cash to put my daughter through college. From there I entered the SuperValu Food Academy and got some of my products into SuperValu. In 2019 I entered the Grow with Aldi program and secured a contract with Aldi Ireland. From using my own kitchen to shared kitchens, I now have my very own premises in Finglas. We supply Aldi Ireland under the Bramwells brand and SuperValu under the Funky Monkey brand nationwide. We have four employees here working on site, one accountant based in Donegal who looks after all our bookkeeping, accounts, and salaries. We have one more guy on the road doing van sales, delivering into SuperValu stores. K & K Produce delivers our products into Aldi distribution centres in Naas and Mitchelstown.

Our three venues, Michael’s and little Mike’s in Mount Merrion and Big Mike’s in Blackrock specialise in Irish seafood and steaks, using smaller and local suppliers wherever possible and championing them. We are in business for 6 years in total. Each venue has its own personality and vibe, and we never compromise on the quality of the product. We have won dozens of awards through our growth and we try our best to ensure great customer service and staff up-skilling and progression.
