Pay and Benefits Overview
The issue of remuneration and reward is a continual challenge for organisations. While the National Minimum Wage Acts 2000 and 2015 and the Payment of Wages Act 1991 are the principal acts governing pay, the issue is significantly influenced by taxation and social welfare legislation, and traditionally by national wage agreements. In addition, at all times there is a need for equity and transparency in pay practices.
