Diversity and Inclusion Strategy
A diversity and inclusion strategy sets out a company's diversity and inclusion goals and objectives. The value of such a strategy is creating a shared commitment, vision and direction towards making the workplace more diverse and inclusive. To achieve this vision, a diversity and inclusion strategy creates a roadmap of actions and initiatives a company will undertake over a set period of time. It outlines the key roles and responsibilities and how progress will be tracked and measured overtime. Formulating a diversity and inclusion strategy requires the systemic evaluation of business goals and objectives, identifying diversity gaps and issues, and creating solutions to enable success. There is no one size fits all model as each strategy needs to be systematically tailored to the specific organisations.
