ODI toolkit on LGBTQIA+ community
The Open Doors Initiative (ODI) has commissioned Dr Vanessa Lacey to develop an employer toolkit that focuses on the recruitment and employment experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community, and as a partner of ODI, the SFA would very much value contribution from members to this important piece of research. They are seeking participants to take part in upcoming virtual focus groups, who might provide insight from the perspective of business and employers. Your participation would add hugely in the development of this employer toolkit.
The duration of focus groups will be no more than 60 minutes and will take place online. The next focus group will take place on Wednesday, 2nd April from 12pm to 1pm
To take part, please email us with which date/time might suit and the ODI will share a calendar invitation. If you would like to contribute to this research, but the above time does not suit or you would prefer an individual interview with Dr Lacey, which would take no more than 30 mins, please do let me know and we will organise this with you.
The project was awarded a funding grant from ESB’s ‘The Energy for Generations Funds’. This piece of research is a follow-up to the publication of the Employer Toolkit: Inclusive Recruitment of Trans & Non-Binary Candidates in 2023, and we are delighted to have Dr Vanessa Lacey, Gendercare, to lead on this project.
