Ibec's regional structure ensures that members are serviced locally in addition to our national and international services. Each region provides human resource and industrial relations services as well as lobbying on local business issues.
Including our head office in Dublin, we have offices in Waterford, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Donegal, each of which:
- provides a local comprehensive human resource and industrial relations service to members
- lobbies for measures that encourage local enterprise and investment
- provides a forum for networking
- hosts regional briefings and seminars on critical business issues
A central role of Ibec's regional office network is advising members directly. The regional office offers a single point of contact for local members as each member is assigned an Employer Relations executive. Members avail of unlimited access to and face-to-face meetings with their designated Employer Relations specialist for tailored advice and information on all aspects of employee relations and human resources, including Ibec representation in negotiations before the Workplace Relations Commission on all industrial relations issues, as well as representation at the Workplace Relations Commission’s Adjudication Service and Labour Court.
