SFA Meets Minister of State, Alan Dillon, TD

The SFA has continued its engagement with key policy stakeholders in recent weeks. Last week the most significant engagement was with new Minister of State Alan Dillon, TD and his team at the Department of Enterprise, Tourism & Employment. SFA Director David Broderick, SFA Council member and MD of Fishers of Newtownmountkennedy Ltd & Food at Fishers Ltd, Rebecca Harrison and SFA Public Affairs Lead, Jonathan McDade met Minister Alan Dillon TD who is responsible for small business, retail and the circular economy. The SFA raised key issues impacting the small business community, particularly rising business costs.

The SFA also met with Sinead Gibney, TD, Social Democrats Spokesperson for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation; Enterprise, Tourism and Employment; Foreign Affairs and Trade; and Defence. The SFA also met the new Sinn Fein Spokesperson on Enterprise, Tourism & Employment, Rose Conway Walsh, TD.
