Employment equality legislation
The Employment Equality Acts 1998 to 2015 lay down the fundamental principle of anti-discrimination in the Irish workplace. Since 1998 discrimination has been outlawed on nine grounds and enforcement has been strengthened through the Equality Tribunal.
