Work and Access scheme
Work and Access is a new government initiative to help people with a disability get a job or stay in work. Launched over the Summer by the Minister for Social Protection, Heather Humphreys TD, Work and Access aims to remove or reduce barriers in the workplace for people with a disability.
Work and Access is the result of public consultation and comprehensive review and replaces the Reasonable Accommodation Fund and the Disability Awareness Support Scheme. There are seven grants within Work and Access, three of which can be applied for by employers.
