The Annual Technology Ireland Industry Awards name Alkimii as Technology Ireland Company of the Year 2024

Alkimii has been named the Digital Technology Company of the Year at the Annual Technology Ireland Industry Awards. The Annual ceremony celebrated 11 outstanding winners.
Speaking on Alkimii’s success, the judges who selected them for the Digital Technology Company of the Year Award said: “The leadership of this company demonstrate a deep understanding of their business domain and competitive landscape. Their customers operate in a tight margin business and this flagship technology product helps their customers achieve operational excellence and efficiencies through digitisation and automation of core business processes allowing their customers to focus what they do best.”

Dr. Patricia Scanlon was named Person of the Year at the Awards Ceremony. As the current Chair of the Irish Government expert AI council & Ireland's first AI Ambassador, as well as previously the Founder & Executive Chair of SoapBox Labs, Dr Scanlon is recognised as a leading voice on AI in Ireland.
Una Fitzpatrick said “Dr. Scanlon encapsulates perfectly tech leadership through both her entrepreneurship journey and the advocacy work she has been committed to for many years. With a deep understanding of ethical AI, Patricia promotes that 'Ethical AI doesn’t have to be in opposition to innovation and progress, it doesn’t have to be in conflict with good commerce and business, it can work in tandem'. Her work to bring together so many stakeholders on these topics have been hugely valuable and Technology Ireland is delighted to honour Dr. Patricia Scanlon.”
