Brendan Courtney is a TV & Radio Host, Fashion Designer, Entrepreneur, Author, Advocate and Speaker specializing in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
One of Ireland’s best known and well-loved TV Hosts, his award-winning TV documentaries which tackled inclusive housing, ageism and health have triggered policy reform within the Irish Governments Health Care systems and resulted in his Ministerial appointment to the Department of Health’s executive advisory board.
In 2023 Brendan hosted Ireland’s first forum on Human Rights and Equality., He was invited by the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission to front the movement for greater recognition and protection of unpaid carers, he recently addressed the Irish Government asking for a commitment to consider the future for unpaid workers.
Clare has worked across TV and Radio for almost 20 years. Her experience includes live TV anchoring on Ireland AM, reporting and presenting across a range of current affairs and lifestyle programmes including The Elaine Show and Midweek on Virgin Media Television and The Liffey Laughs on RTÉ. She has presented on radio beginning on Dublin station Spin 1038's talk show, at Today FM with The Ray D'Arcy Show, The Anton Savage Show and the Ian Dempsey Breakfast show working as a reporter and on the production teams.
In more recent years she has brought a personal passion to her profession, presenting Newstalk’s health and wellness show Alive and Kicking interviewing guests on everything from mental and physical health to cold water therapy. Her Health Coach qualification from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition has allowed Clare to extend her knowledge to coaching in the areas of lifestyle medicine and holistic health.
An exciting speaker, Clare brings her personal experience of wellness overwhelm and speaks of changes she has made from a focus on the aesthetic with punishing and restrictive habits to those more nourishing and energising.
Clare has acted as host, MC and panel moderator for a range of events including Spectrum Life where she presents their online wellbeing seminars throughout the year.
An advocate for social change Clare also presents podcast Changemakers empowering people to be the change they would like to see in the world through inspiring conversations with her guests.
