BioPharmaChem Ireland in conjunction with MSD and Down Syndrome Ireland are hosting a webinar focusing on MSD’s successful initiative to provide work placement and experience opportunities for people with Down syndrome at their Carlow site.
The European Commission Country Report for Ireland 2022 revealed that Ireland has the largest disability employment gap in the EU, at 38.6 per cent. MSD sought to address this disparity by partnering with Down Syndrome Ireland. The webinar will feature a panel discussion with representatives from MSD and Down Syndrome Ireland, sharing their learnings from the programme and outlining the positive outcomes for the company.
