Implementing EU sustainability reporting requirements
The EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) will introduce new non-financial reporting requirements for Irish businesses to annually disclose information on how sustainability issues affect their business and how their business impacts on sustainability, in particular the environmental, social and human rights, and governance factors. In doing so, it will expand the scope of companies involved from around 11,00 across the EU to over 50,000.
Ibec hosted this Webinar on the CSRD to provide practical information and guidance for members to help implement the new EU requirements.
The webinar included a briefing on the new requirements from the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union (FISMA).
