How we support

We provide forums for members to network and to develop shared positions on policy and regulatory proposals. We also lobby on our members’ behalf for a responsible but competitive business environment. All four groups been active in Ibec’s Better Lives Better Business campaign.

The committee represents a broad cross section of Irish enterprises – indigenous and multinational – that are affected by energy policy, regulation or legislation at national, EU and international level.

The Council has a mandate to promote timely development of national infrastructure that supports economic growth, sustainable development.

OHS Policy

The committee represents the interests of Ibec members at National and European Union level with regard to policy and legislation affecting the safety and health of employees.

Energy, Environment and Transport led by Neil Walker, represents and supports a broad and diverse mix of members from Irish Energy Transport and Resources industry. The team keeps members informed on policy through in-house briefings, provides industry updates, research and regularly runs member networking forums and industry led training for the sector.
