This launch marks the culmination of a three-year research initiative into the dynamics of the all-island economy, undertaken by the Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI) and the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR) in London, with the support of Ibec.
Attendees will hear from Ibec CEO, Danny McCoy, lead researchers from the ESRI and NIESR and a panel of stakeholders and business leaders, including Angela McGowan, CBI Director of Northern Ireland, on the importance of such a model in understanding the all island economy and how it can support a more evidence based approach to policy making impacting on Northern Ireland and the all island economy.
