Join us for the launch of BioPharmaChem Ireland’s [BPCI] Responsible Care 2024 Report, 06th March from 10:00-12:00 on MSTeams. Responsible Care is the industry’s commitment to sustainability: the global chemical industry’s unique initiative to improve its health, safety, and environmental performance.
BPCI’s annual Responsible Care report outlines the performance of the sector over the previous three years (2020-2022). With 42 participating sites, we’re pleased to share that the efforts of all members strongly supports the objectives of the 2023-2027 BioPharmaChem Ireland strategy document ‘Make Ireland the Global Leader in Sustainable Biopharmaceutical and Chemical Manufacturing’.
One of the key challenges facing this industry over the next 10 years is the transition to a carbon neutral society. The results outlined in this report are a continuation of the good work of our members, that began in the late 1990s, to the achievement of this goal.
Join us for this virtual event, where will share the latest trends across several factors including economic factors, air emissions, water discharges, waste disposal, energy & water and safety.
We will be joined by BPCI Chair Brian Killen, MSD and a number of companies will present case studies covering a range of environmental factors – an opportunity to benchmark and learn how the sector is progressing towards its sustainability goals.
